THE WISHING WELL AT WELLFIELD

Our breakfast and after school club - Wishing Well - opened in September 2015 and is already proving to be a great success. So much so that we have now extended this service to offer childcare during the school holidays. The holiday club is open every school holiday other than the Christmas break.

The club offers a wide range of exciting resources and activities for the children - both indoors and outdoors.

Our dedicated team of Play Leaders are managed by Mr Chris Vernon. We also employ a Forest Schools Leader as part of the team. The Forest Schools Leader delivers some wonderful activities outdoors for the children, including den building and the creation of habitats for mini-beasts and other wildlife.

In order  for a child to attend the club parents and carers must complete a registration form, (these can be downloaded below), and bookings and payment must be made in advance to allow us to ensure we have the appropriate staffing levels in place for each session.

Breakfast Club

Both clubs offer a range of healthy snacks.

Breakfast includes a choice of cereals, yoghurts and fruit as well as toast and there is fruit juice, milk and water available for drinks.

After School Club

The food for the after school club is prepared by our school kitchen. Children are provided with a substantial meal. Examples of what is available include pasta pots, sandwiches and wraps, baked potatoes with a range of fillings and soup. We are currently developing sample menus which will be added to this page shortly.

Holiday Club

All children who attend the holiday club need to bring their own packed lunch and a drink such as a water bottle with them.

Children who attend the full session (Option 2) are offered breakfast as they arrive. The food and drinks available are the same as for our breakfast club during term time, (see above). They are also offered a light snack such as toast and fruit at the end of the day.

Children who attend the early short session (Option 3) are also offered breakfast as they arrive.
