OFSTED INSPECTION - FEB 2016

Our school was inspected on 2nd and 3rd of February. The final report was released on Friday, 12th February and we are delighted to announce that we were graded as OUTSTANDING IN ALL AREAS. A copy of the report is available at the bottom of this page.

Early Years Foundation Stage Profile

Our Early Years results continue to fair very highly against the National and Local picture.
 

In 2017 Trafford schools' results were ranked as first in the country for the Early years Foundation Stage Profile scores compared to other Local Authorities. The average 5 of pupils in Trafford who obtained a Good Level Of Development in their Profile at the end of the Reception year was 73% compared with 71% Nationally.

In the same year 80% of our Reception pupils achieved a Good Level Of Development, (GLD), for their Early Years Foundation Stage Profile.

The National % of children who achieved a Good Level Of Development who had no identified Special Educational Needs in 2017 was 75% compared with 78% for Trafford pupils. 94% of the children in our school with no identified Special Educational Needs achieved a Good level of Development.


 

YEAR ONE PHONICS SCREENING TEST

In 2017 84% of our pupils passed the Phonics Screening Test compared to 81% nationally. 100% of our children with no identified Special Educational Need passed the test.


YEAR TWO RESULTS

2016 saw the introduction of the new style SAT tests. These were administered and the results were used along with class teachers' other assessments to identify which children had achieved all of the end of year objectives for core subjects in the National Curriculum.

In Reading 92% of pupils achieved or exceeded the end of year objectives compared with 76% nationally.

In Writing 72% of pupils achieved or exceeded the end of year objectives compared with 68% nationally.

In Mathematics 85% of pupils achieved the end of year objectives compared with 75% nationally.
