The Wishing Well Out of School Club is run by the school. It offers wrap around care for working parents and carers. The club was inspected as part of the school's Ofsted inspection in March 2023 and was awarded Outstanding.

The club is open all year round except over the Christmas holidays. The club is registered for children from 3 yrs to 11 yrs old. During term time it serves pupils from Wellfield Infant School and Wellfield Junior School. The holiday provision can be accessed by children from other schools too.

Parents and carers have to complete a registration form before their child can use the club. We always advise parents and carers to book in advance to secure a place. Booking forms can be downloaded on this page or collected from the school office.

All staff in the club have been subject of an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check, (DBS).

The club offers a variety of activities both indoors and out.

Indoors children have access to art and craft activities, a pool table, board games, a variety of construction kits, role play and books every day. In addition to this the adults put on extra activities which change from one week to the next, such as baking activities.

Outdoors children have access to adventurous activities led by our Forest Schools Leader. These include den building and cooking over the camp fire. There are also a variety of sports activities and outdoor games available too.

Holiday Club activities include all of the above. We generally have a theme of the week which leads up to a party day each Friday.
