Beyond the Physical – Wraparound Care at Wellfield Infant and Nursery School
We are delighted to share that Beyond the Physical have now successfully taken over the delivery of wraparound care across Wellfield Infant and Junior Schools. Having worked with our schools for many years through PE teaching and after-school clubs, they already know our children well and continue to build positively on the strong foundations established by the Wishing Well team.
The wraparound provision has continued to be a popular and well-used resource, offering a broad range of enriching activities to support children’s wellbeing and development. In addition to the new sports-led sessions delivered by a dedicated coach, the team continue to provide:
Creative activities such as art and craft
Free play opportunities both indoors and outdoors
Quiet spaces for reading, relaxation or independent play
Forest School–style activities that promote exploration, teamwork and outdoor learning
This balanced offer ensures that children can choose the type of activity that best suits their interests and energy levels at the start or end of the school day.
To support a more efficient system, all bookings are made through the Pebble Online Booking System. Prices, which were updated at the start of the transition, remain as follows:
Breakfast Club: £7.00, starting from 7:30am
After-School Club: £15.00, which closes at 6pm
Childcare vouchers can continue to be used via Poncho Pay within the Pebble system.
