PHONICS AND READING AT WINS

Phonics - we use the Phonic Shed scheme to support the development of children's speaking and listening skills in Nursery (Chapter 1) and from Reception onwards to develop children's knowledge and understanding of letters and the sounds that go with them to support their reading and writing journey (Chapters 2 onwards). You can access some useful information and resources that go with this scheme below.
