Led by Mrs Ahmed, our ECO Warriors have been involved in various activities to improve and protect our environment and to reduce waste produced by our school by increasing the recycling opportunities. They have also helped to organise the purchase of special paper recycling sacks for each classroom and helped Mrs Ahmed to deliver an assembly base on reducing waste for the children. All of this amazing work has helped us to achieve the Eco Schools Green Flag Award.

In September 2022 our Early Years team were awarded the Silver Award in the National Pearson Teaching Awards. They were nominated by Miss Graham, two of our parents and senior members from the Bright Futures Teaching School Hub. The team were selected for this prestigious award for their dedication to supporting children with SEND and inclusive practice along with their work to support the wider Early Years community of professionals, through their support for trainee Teaching Assistants and Teachers and advisory work with other schools.

We have been awarded the Silver Quality Standard for Anti Bullying by Trafford. This award covers five aspects which are:-

• School Ethos and Leadership
• Systems and Communication
• Teaching and Learning
• Staff Skills and Motivation
• Building and School Environment

We are now "Going for Gold" and are hoping to have achieved this award by the end of the school year - watch this space!
